新西蘭遊學團 Day 4

Today we did some arts and crafts in the morning. First, we molded clay into shapes that represents Maori and New Zealand. We then turned these shapes into pendants. After morning tea, we then made our own poi. Poi is something that the Maori people use in their dances. It looks like a soft round ball on a string. Ms. Hannah also showed us how to use it in a dance. We also made some bookmarks. We took some wooden sticks that kind of looks like popsicle sticks and drew traidtional Maori patterns on them. It was a lot of fun. After lunch, we continued to have lessons with our buddies today.
