中法交流團2025-2026 法國行 Day 2
After a 13-hour long journey, we finally arrived in Pauillac on September 8th. We headed to the dormitory immediately. On the way, we saw many vineyards and the scenery was incredibly beautiful. The vast open fields made me feel free.
Then, we followed the teachers to the school and met the French students. They were energetic, free-spirited, and everyone had a smile on their face. They greeted us with great warmth. After that, we began our classes. The first session was on traditional Chinese paper-cutting lesson. During the introduction, the students reacted with both anticipation and admiration. With our help and effort, everyone successfully created a beautiful piece with various patterns.
The second class was a STEAM lesson. I was surprised to find that schools abroad don’t usually have this type of courses. After listening to our explanation, the French students showed interest but were also unfamiliar with the subject. The assembling process was a bit complicated at first. Although it was challenging, no one gave up. Everyone observed each step carefully, and with our assistance, they successfully completed their cars.
Afterward, everyone took their mechanical cars outside the classroom for an exciting and intense race. The atmosphere was exciting —some students even cheered enthusiastically for their cars on the sidelines. In the end, the winners received small gifts: lightbulb-shaped USB drives that glow at night. How cool is that!
We also took a group photo together. It was truly a pleasant day spent with everyone!
